I now had dropped off my childrens books in a small town in southern MN. They are having some type of Octoberfest and gather vendors. The twist is that they..not us the vendors sale our goods at 25% for the total sale which is for 24 days. So one should be able to make some money..hopefully. I am going to make a drive down in a day or two to see how they displayed my stuff and to check things out. Some nice fall day would be a great ride. The hour and one half drive needs to be scenic. more later.....

Painted Childrens Crate
Painted wooden crate that I painted and decorated for a little girl for her books.
I purchased the unfinished crate at JoAnn Fabrics plus the painted wood decals. After applying wood filler to all the nail holes, I then sanded and painted primmer on the crate. I then painted it with a gloss finish. After drying I then glued on the decals plus adding her name on one side of the crate. It turned out really cute..I thought!! July 2012

Sept 4 2012, I am getting ready for a craft/flea market sale this Saturday. If I didn't make a list I would for sure forget something. It sounds like a simple thing just take your stuff price it and pack it. Well it's not that simple, I wish it was but there's a ton of things to do. Not only do you have to have inventory to sale you have to price it, pack it then you need displays plus tent, weights, chair and table..and bags ...oh boy see what I mean. You need that list. Talking about lists when I was younger I did not need a list. My list was mentally written and checked it off that way too but now I have to write it down and check it twice. I hope it all goes well.
